Hard to find a women who doesn’t love a well cut suit – and when I say ‘suit’, I also mean even if the blazer/jacket is not a match to the trousers.
We women love wearing a suit for its ability to help us feel powerful and professional, and also the versatility to dress it down and look effortlessly chic and stylish. Especially in the last couple of years there seems to have been an explosion- from the loose/relaxed fit to the structured classic chic black with satin lapels, and even many in fabulous bright colours such as pink and red.
Whatever magazine/newspaper you open, headshots you see on Linkedn, women presenting on stage, it’s hard not to see a woman in a suit and generally wearing the classic single button or double breasted blazer.
And although I love the classic blazers as I too have a few, I’ve always been a believer that your suit doesn’t always have to be of the same style, especially knowing that most women will have the same!
In order to have the wow factor – having that little more pizzaz, you can’t be like others.
Wouldn’t it be nice to just throw in versatility, spicing things up in your wardrobe by injecting some asymmetry, draping and interesting pleating -allowing you to have a little more fun and certainly more uniqueness when it comes to your style.
Here I curated THREE different ‘suit’ outfits that I hope will inspire you to think about that point of difference I keep telling you about!
All three are perfect for work if you can wear a suit or/and event wear. What you wear to work matters as much as what you wear to an event – your visual voice is 24/7, a representation of who you are and what sets you apart from others.

Suit ONE:
A business meeting, an on stage presentation, a cocktail event – this outfit tells the universe you are one interesting lady! The semi classic cape style jacket in a delicious pink with satin lapel is incredibly elegant and luxurious. Pair it with stunning wide leg cream trousers fitted with a cream T-shirt under the pink. Suit TWO:
The perfect example of remaining elegant with a point of difference. It is the combination of a classic black blazer with a dramatic, off shoulder, contrast yellow drape that makes this different and your next level classic elegant. A delicate black and gold belt, sling back pumps and delightful large black and white floral earrings polish this off perfectly.

Suit THREE:
She’s got style, sass and confidence. It’s the lopsided shoulder jacket draping down to an asymmetrical hem, paired with red flare trousers that will have this outfit turning heads. Oh and also that incredible large statement necklace blinging from your chest. There is no doubt, you are ready to show your colleagues/friends who the real you is – Unapologetically Dynamic!
