3 Ways To Style The Same Jacket

Hello,

As COVID restrictions ease and we claw back our lives, many of us will return to work and are embracing the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, isolating PJs and sweat pants instead of ourselves. Venture into the ‘new world’ by presenting a more authentic and fearless image.

These three ways to style the same black jacket are a perfect example of sound CPW (cost per wear). Given the newfound caution with money, it’s great to know that any existing pieces or new purchases can be worn in many ways, many times. And to keep it simple, the same tote bag is featured for all.

This jacket is a stylish, drape-front crepe knit. Versatile, easy to care for, and great for travelling (when that happens again), it is an ideal piece to own. I happen to have one myself and created a special video for you showing you how I style it. There are tips galore in this post!

This is also a great time to organise a style consultation – whether online or personal. I can find and reinvent those wardrobe treasures into outfits you never thought possible. Message me to enquire about my services and packages.

Enjoy

From This…To This…Wrap the jacket over a pretty, spearmint, lace maxi dress and belt it with this abstract print silk bow belt. Keep it simple with the black tote bag.

Tip: Pull or roll the sleeves of the jacket up a little to expose the lace sleeves. The balance is right when showing a little more of the green.

And This…Autumn talks in this abstract skirt with earthy colours. Belt the jacket with a tan belt, add rustic cuffs and hot red boots. The same tote features.

And This…

I left the best till last! A beautiful mix of feminine and masculine. Step out of the box by wearing a transparent, ruffle-hem, tulle dress over a pair of flared trousers and wrap this jacket over the top. This takes the standard trouser/jacket pairing up another level, reflecting flair and confidence. The beauty of this outfit is you can transform it by ditching the trousers for a slip to take it to night. Add a touch of decadence with the flower and pearl necklace and snake print pumps to soften the black. Same bag, totally different feel.

Tip: Push or roll the sleeves of the jacket up a little and pull the dress sleeves to balloon around the wrist.
