I recently stumbled across a style collage I’d put together but failed to post in 2016. I have no idea why as it’s a stunning combination of an ultra feminine silk and lace dress with a dramatic colour mix of chocolate and black, a masculine, structured jacket and rocker heels, showing how powerfully feminine and masculine offset one another.
I wanted to show both how stylish this outfit remains five years on, and how to recreate a similar look with pieces that are currently available. Pair this delicate chocolate and black asymmetric silk and lace dress with a structured tail jacket for a striking combination. The jacket’s long front and back splits allow the lace detail of the dress to show through. The jacket works buttoned but can also be left unbuttoned to reveal more detail. The gold-accented accessories create a regal air.
