Enclothed In Nature

Hello,

Patterns are a sensory delight, particularly those that draw inspiration from the natural world around us. When wearing prints – the colours, textures and scale of the designs have an enormous impact on how we feel. Warm and earthy. Watery and serene. Bright and bouncy. Each of us is affected differently depending on our personal histories and influences. But being surrounded by nature’s beauty and splendour generally has an affirming effect.

Nature is intelligent. She teems with life and variety. Her patterns serve a unique purpose in helping a particular life form to thrive in its environment. And she can do the same for us in ours.

We can find wearing prints daunting, often because we don’t know what suits us or the fear of standing out. But once we determine what works on us, patterns will work for us and help us stand out in the environment in the right way.

I’ve carefully curated three colourful compositions inspired by nature to show how wearing it is stylish and magical.

Enjoy
