Hello – the 2015 Australian Spring Racing Carnival has kicked off and runs until 7th November.
Each week I’ll be posting ‘from this to this’ with a focus on getting you form.
Many people leave their outfits to the last-minute so don’t despair if you’ve been too busy juggling the usual, these posts should provide plenty of ideas for how to bring what you’ve got together brilliantly.
But hey, if races aren’t your thing, these are great for any party occasion.
Derby Day is of course all about black and white.
For those wishing for some style help for the races, please contact me on stylebygessica@gmail.com. We still have some time. Last year I was on shopping trips with women the day before each race! So don’t worry, magic can be pulled. However I have limited days available now with October being frantic for me, so please do not delay in contacting me.
Enjoy

Wearing trousers: This chic asymmetric top worn with straight leg white pants is an ultra stylish ensemble for Derby Day. The Panama hat is perfect with this outfit. Rather than going all black, why not throw in a touch of colour with green earrings and a floral bag.

The pencil skirt: A sleek pencil skirt is always a sexy look at the races. This lace print skirt is a little different and especially if worn with an standout jacket such as one like this with flared cuffs. Mix some prints with the snake-skin shoes and stripe bag. Again throw in a touch of colour with the earrings.

Striking! I love the elegance and simple lines of this dress. Worn with a statement feather cape you would be a winner on the day. Super sexy.
