Gessica is an incredibly talented stylist. We started with a wardrobe cull and it was astounding how many pieces of clothing I owned that were black, black and black and literally identical to each other! Also I seemed to gravitate towards items that actually were not entirely flattering. Gessica then took me shopping and found pieces for me that I would never have thought would work but they looked amazing. A whole new modern look was designed especially for me. You are very creative and I simply trusted in the process and did not say no to you (despite sometimes thinking it when we were shopping!) and voila! I first saw you on Instagram and then I loved your artistic website with its reference to various art movements and to Europe and I was sold! I went with my gut which has always served me well and you have totally vamped-up my wardrobe for work. I adore working with Gessica because of her delightful personality and her innate sense of style. She has (gently) pushed me out of my comfort zone and together we have created a wardrobe that suits both my body shape and my personality. I just wish we had met sooner!

I admired Gessica's work for many years before I engaged her to assist with the concepts for the dress designs for my label, then embarked upon the rigorous and incredible transformation process of my own professional style. I wanted to revamp, elevate and shake up my on-stage style, as MC of high profile events across the globe. Gessica starts with the foundations (using my black dresses as a blank canvas), learning who you are (colourful, energetic, extrovert), where the opportunities are (more sophistication, less 'quirk', what the limitations are (for me: no heels please!) then the all important CULL of your existing wardrobe. Then a super fun and carefully curated SHOPPING expedition and the final INTEGRATION session where Gess works with you, bringing your new items together with the existing ones, including accessories and shoes, creating LOOKS and OUTFITS. There are photos and videos captured of each outfit which has been extremely valuable each time I'm packing for a trip. Every time I'm wearing one of the looks we created, I get a comment like 'I love your style', 'You always look fantastic!', 'Is that the same dress, with different accessories?'. I'm over the moon with the results, and I've learned so much to continue the journey and bring the RIGHT things into my wardrobe going forward. HIGHLY recommend!

Gessica is my angel. She was referred to me by a friend whilst I lived in Australia but didn't have a chance to enlist her services due to my extensive travels. It wasn't until I relocated to L.A., that I realised I needed her. My style needed to go to a different level given the industry I am in. I have worked with Gessica to learn how to wear those clothes I had (but never wore) and to update both my summer and winter wardrobes.  She has also helped me (and my hubbie) to find one-off pieces for special events.  On each occasion, working with Gess was fun and valuable. While I love fashion and clothes, I can’t stand shopping. But, having Gess there to guide me made it painless. Gess knew where to look for my shape, suggested I try new looks (that worked!), introduced me to great brands and encouraged me to experiment with colour.  My wardrobe is now filled with different looks and loads of colour – which just makes me happy whenever I put them on.  Gess has also shown me how to wear accessories, a part of my wardrobe much neglected before, and now front and centre. Have always struggled with dressing for work and enviously looked at some women and wondered how they put together their outfits in the morning. I read about Style by Gessica in an AFR review a few years ago and from the first moment I made contact I knew I had made an excellent career move. Gessica conducted a styling workshop at our office that inspired us all to make more effort with our presentation in the workplace. I met Gessica at an AFA Inspire event (a forum for female financial advisers). I was very impressed with Gessica's presentation, however I wasn’t sure if it was for me...until my girlfriend hired her and I saw a transformation occur before my eyes. I recall always enjoying style and clothing growing up (the 80s and 90s was such a fun time for clothing and experimenting) however as the decades went on and priorities changed (career, family, children....life) I just fell into a style rut where what I had was minimal and "good enough" and I could just make do with what I had.....which wasn't much. I gave little thought to my dress sense for work (despite being front facing and very visible in my role with multiple stakeholders) as I would wake each morning and go into auto pilot - it would be the same white business shirt everyday and the only choice I had to make was what suit did I wear yesterday so not to wear it again and what tie was I up to in the weekly "rotation" - how boring. My dress sense out of work was very basic and extremely casual with little imagination and was quite plain and dull - I recall going to social events feeling my dress was underwhelming and at times I felt I had nothing suitable to wear even if I did want to take it up a notch. I had lost my pride in appearance. I reached a point where I needed a change and needed some help - to not fall back into the same old clothing choices and reinvest back into myself - so I enlisted Gessica's services and what a difference it has made. I now have fun with my style, take far more risk and have an array of clothing items and style choices for all occasions (I didn't have choices before) that suit my age, my profession, social environments and settings and most importantly my sense of individuality.
