Winter is all about layering, and layering gives us a great opportunity to create glorious outfits with different colours, textures, and proportions. With winter your coat is your best accessory and the one most people see, hence wearing a fabulous coat can spice up any winter outfit.
In this winter post, what stands out is not only the striking mohair coat with a stripe texture that gives it almost a retro feel, but also the delicious burnt orange and red colours combined together, and the accessories which skilfully creates different looks.
I curated two slightly different looks with the same pieces that are delightful for work and/or an evening affair – showing you the art of how simple monochrome pieces can be curated to make statement outfits, highlighting your point of difference.

The vibrant red ensemble under the coat says none other than ultra chic-ness. Peaking under the coat lapel is a glamorous vintage crocodile gold choker that highlights your point of difference. The gold vintage brooch adds the extra pizzaz and the remaining items – the red gloves, pre-loved handbag, red classic pump – all class.
